Have you ever wanted to develop a Business Development team from the ground up in one of the fastest growing innovators in a rapidly changing marketplace?
We’re working with a leading litigation specialist to hire exactly that; this is an opportunity to join a global firm in their first ever business development hire, taking a front-line role that will both define and execute strategy as the firm aims to hit ambitious growth targets, doubling in size over the next 2 years.
The firm is unique in it’s innovative structure, not just acting as a high-profile litigation specialist (band one ranked), but also providing access to in house counsel and silk without the need to instruct a set, through to providing forensic discovery services with a team built on Big Four expertise.
The role is equally strategic as it is hands-on. With a leadership team open to change, this would suit a creative and game changing BD professional looking to advise on best practice to win work through differentiating channels.
As the firm grows, the role will take a best practice (also owning the delivery of) approach to pitching, directory submissions and credentials. It will also hold a client centric remit, setting a client development strategy and executing this alongside the firm’s managing partner and leadership board.
Successful candidates will have experience differentiating a practice or sector group through business development initiatives in a crowded marketplace, ideally having owned a groups marketing and BD strategy and budgets. This would suit someone from an exec level through to manager either within a law firm or the big four looking for a unique fast track role towards a ‘head of level’. As such candidates will be pragmatic, driven and ambitious, but equally professional and considered in their approach.
This is a truly unique opportunity and a great way to kick start the new year with a new challenge!
