Business Development Manager

We are currently looking for an ambitious, results focused and energetic individual to join our Team as Business Development Manager. This is a key, revenue focused role in the business, responsible for reaching out and bringing new clients into the firm. Ours is very much a Consultancy-led sales approach, and therefore you need an ability to understand our clients' business drivers and see their world from their seat.
You will have considerable experience in one or more commercial sectors, be at home in conversation with decision makers, and be able to demonstrate performance in a business-to-business environment. You will be comfortable carrying a target, confident of delivering it and possess a natural determination to excel.
This is a demanding role with a firm that values enterprise and rewards success. Office based in Melton Mowbray, it comes with a starting salary of £35,000 p.a., and a performance related package to £50,000. We have a clear development pathway, and we expect you to transition quickly to the role of Bid Manager on a package of circa £60,000 p.a.
