To succeed in this role you will have experience in finding new leads as well as working on current accounts, winning new client accounts, and meeting sales targets. When you introduce a new account, you'll work closely with our team of vastly experienced travel consultants to deliver the best possible travel management experience to all levels of the client organisation.
The role will be in the out on the road and 2/3 days office based.
You need minimum 5 years' experience within a Business Development manager role for a corporate company.
*Proactively seek new business leads for our travel management service and increase sales revenue for the company.
*Develop relationships with key decision makers in major organisations to improve opportunities for new sales and account development.
*Identify and develop new opportunities and strategies to enhance pipeline
*Meet the sales target set within the given deadline Keep up to date with existing clients
*Will be able to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels.
*A strong background of sales / business development within the business travel sector
*Driven by targets with a self-motivation to succeed
*Excellent Presentation, Communication and negotiation skills
*Possess excellent organisational skills.
*Will have the background experience to implement and manage a CRM system.
*Previous experience within the corporate travel sector is essential
*Working to deadlines and be accountable
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a very competitive basic salary of up to 32k with a great bonus structure
