Business Development Manager - Houghton Regis - NEW!!!

The Company:

Focus IT have the pleasure of working with this WELL established Software Company. Due to demand they are seeking a business development manager to complement their existing Team

The Role:

Due to industry growth, we now have a requirement for self-driven and highly motivated person to come in and build on their expertise in the internal sales and business development sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • This is full-cycle inside sales role, pursuing new customers as well as building relationships with an established network of customers. This role provides excellent career growth potential and the ability to sell a portfolio of products.
  • Responding to Requests for information and Quotes
  • Demonstration scoping and preparation
  • Remote Client presentations and demonstrations
  • Support with product strategy and market research
  • Environment maintenance and on-going improvements
  • Generate new opportunities with new sales opportunities
  • Account management

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position will have at 2 years + experience within the software sector.

Key skills are as follows:

  • Experience in a similar role selling B2B software systems
  • Ability to communicate to senior decision makers and identify customer’s existing and future requirements
  • Good understanding of business practise and strong commercial awareness
  • Able to work with technical team to produce accurate specifications, design, adapt and streamline products offering
  • Extensive experience in presenting and demonstrating systems
  • Self-motivated and driven to work with the team to close business in a timely fashion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with desktop computers; MS Office, MS Outlook, PowerPoint

Role can be known as Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Business Development Representative (BDR), Account Executive, Account Manager, Sales Executive , software sales , IT Sales

Location: Houghton Regis

The role is based in Houghton Regis and is commutable from Milton Keynes, Luton, North London , Aylesbury, Dunstable, Northamptonshire, Bedford, oxford, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, high Wycombe and surrounding areas of Buckinghamshire

The salary: £20,000- £45,000 + OTE + Benefits
