Specialising in providing premium property maintenance services to the residential lettings industry, my client require a tenacious, personable and driven Business Developer to join their established and growing business.
This role will involve working with some of the leading estate and lettings agents in the City. You will be working with existing accounts, as well as continually seeking new business opportunities.
You will be targeted on bringing in revenue from the various services on offer and will be required to ensure my client are at the forefront of their customer base's mind to ensure they are the 'go to' provider over their competitors.
You will achieve this by working predominantly out in the field, visiting your clients and ensuring they are happy with the level of service received as well as ensuring they are aware of other services on offer.
You will be office based for 1 day per week and field based for the remainder. You will be required to pre-book your weekly appointments as well as utilising your time wisely when out and about.
The Business Development Manager will be a dynamic and tenacious person with experience in Solution Selling in a business to business environment. You will be able to pick up on buying signals and build strong business relationships that have longevity. You will be eager to hit the ground running and will embrace the opportunity of using your existing skills. Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a Business Development role or targeted Account Management role
- Very strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Previous field based sales experience would be preferable and the ability to work autonomously
- You will be an excellent relationship builder and be able to adapt your sales style to suit your audience
- Good problem solver and free thinker with an appetite for progression and drive to succeed
- Excellent presentation skills
On offer is a competitive basic salary of circa £30k - £35k depending on experience. Your OTE will be upwards of £60k, this is uncapped with plenty of opportunity to exceed.
