Business Development Manager

Join an International Company in their City of London office as a Business Development Manager!

The purpose of the role is to develop, maintain and nurture business, both new and existing on a Global basis.

Current client lists includes Financial Institutions based in UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia

DUTIES:
·Co-ordinate and drive new business from Financial Institutions and new affinity markets
·Identify target customers
·Deliver against sales targets
·Identify and build product offering that meets clients needs
·Maintain a healthy pipeline of new opportunities
·Act as a first class ambassador of the company to all prospects and at all times
·Raise company profile in the market
·Succesfful management and retention of key clients
·Grow a strong network of relationships
·Be responsible for on-going client management, including quarterly reviews, analysis of program performance and the presentation of enhancement services
·Maintain effective relationships with internal members of staff
·Some travel to visit clients internationally as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
·Gained previous expereince within a B2B Insurance Business Development role
·Natural relationship builder
·Relationship-building skills and understanding of customer service principles
·Experience working with Senior/ Mid-level clients
·Knowledge/ experience of International Insurance cover/ clients - ESSENTIAL
·Ability to communicate in a second language - ADVANTAGEOUS
·Work well under pressure and strong time management skills
·Exceptional attention to detail ensuring quality and delivery in line with deadlines

Salary ranges depending on experience with an excellent basic as well as commission, private pension, healthcare, travel expenses and other benefits.
