An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for an exceptional Business Development Manager - High Value Metals (Aluminium) to work across Germany, supporting Sweden, Morocco and Tunisia. This role is extremely important within the business and is very much a highly visible and key position within the company.

The ideal candidate ideally will have experience of selling either High Value Metals (Aluminium), other types of High Value Metals such as Nickel Alloys, Titanium or Stainless Steels, they are happy to look at applicants with experience of selling either for a High Value Metals Distributor or Mill/Manufacturer, they will also look at candidates from a Commercial Metals background, they may also look at applicants with a Value Added Services background or finally with an Engineering related background to work across Germany, supporting Sweden, Morocco and Tunisia. German Language skills would obviously be welcomed but isn't essential.
As a Business Development Manager - High Value Metals (Aluminium), you will have full responsibilities for selling the company's product range of Aluminium into the Aerospace sector. You will be responsible for the further development of the company's key accounts, whilst working to re-engage with other accounts but the main focus will be on hunting for new business with new clients and clients who have become dormant. You will also have full responsibilities for your own set and defined sales target so working to targets is something you will have experience of.
You will be judged and measured on hitting financial targets, the relationships you build and develop but also maintain and further develop as well as making sure customers are satisfied with the company overall.
This role offers excellent and diverse opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company as well as the group both in Europe and on a Global basis for the successful applicant so you will be an ambitious and forward thinking individual.
You will possess experience of selling either High Value Metals ideally Aluminium, other types of High Value Metals such as Nickel Alloys, Titanium or Stainless Steels, you will have worked for a High Value Metals Distributor or Mill/Manufacturer, you will have a Commercial Metals background, a Value Added Services background or finally an Engineering related background to work across Germany, supporting Sweden, Morocco and Tunisia. The key selling points of the role are the company are a leading supplier in the industry with cutting edge value added services, they have grown exponentially in the last few years both in Europe and also globally with plans to continue this and lastly there will be a number of good opportunities for progression into More Senior Sales Roles across Europe and possibly Globally but also potentially into a Man Management position in Germany or more likely Europe.
