BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Full Time)
The Role of business development manager:
Our client’s customers are important to them and they are offering a unique opportunity to develop and maintain their customer base across the North East. Reporting to the Senior Customer Services Manager, you will be a highly trained customer service professional with experience within the service sector. Our Clients are looking for a strong negotiator but you will also have excellent sales techniques. This role would suit a committed individual with strong communication skills who enjoys talking to a variety of clients and is comfortable working independently. You will also be expected to manage and prioritise your workload, be proactive, flexible and hard working. A demonstrable history of meeting and exceeding targets is a prerequisite for this position.
What will I be doing as a business development manager?
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major accounts, establishing call cycles, territory planning, maintaining your own diary, monitoring revenue spend and upselling additional services, as well as maintaining a new business target (70% account management/30% new business).
