Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager- IT Sales
Base - £25k +
OTE - £45k & quick career progression to external sales
Targets are new business, based on monthly gross margin, and will have a gradual increase going from £1,500 > £2,500 > £3,500 etc until reaching £15,000

Why a Business Development Manager for this company:
To work for a company who has a strong position within the IT Service, Support division. Also, the company have a clear pathway to move into an external BDM position.

Commission is paid against the previous month's invoiced gross margin on the following basis;
£1 - 10,000 = 10%
£10,001 - £20,000 = 12%
£20,000> = all paid at 15% and uncapped
So an achievement of £25,000 GM would attract commission of £2,950 in the following month's salary

Quarterly Bonus
There is an annual bonus pot of £3,000 that is paid out quarterly against 110% achievement of target and on opening 9 new logo accounts in the quarter (effectively turning them into billing accounts with min GM of £500.

Ideal Business Development Manager, IT Sales:
-Ideally degree educated,
-2 sales roles previously at least 1 in IT if possible
-Experience of cold calling, qualification, quoting & closing
-Experience of dealing with IT Managers & Directors/ decision makers
-Experience of working to/ achieving Monthly revenue or GM targets
-Technical knowledge - preference is compute/ data, not telco as there is always a big disparity in knowledge & approach - ideally comprised of elements of the following

Business Development Manager, Product Knowledge:
User device - HP, Dell, Lenovo, apple, Microsoft
Windows Office
AV, Firewall
Server - HP, Dell
Storage - HP, Dell
Virtualisation - VMWare or Hyper V
Back-up - Veeam
Subscriptions & support
Prof Svcs - install, consulting
