Business Development Manager

Major London Law firm seeks a Business Development Executive to help Partners build top accounts and take advantage of numerous opportunities for substantial business growth.

Key duties for this role as Business Development Manager include:

- Working closely with Partners and colleagues to design business plans and implementation.
- Huge opportunities for cross selling and building existing major accounts
- Support and care for existing accounts
- Develop detailed strategic plans for each account and for converting target new business prospects
- Communicate with fee earners to monitor and drive progress with their clients

The successful candidate as Business Development Manager will have the following skills:

- Successful sales background in the legal sector is desirable but experience from the professional services sector's and financial services will be considered
- Excellent New Business Development skills
- Ability to build very strong relationships internally with partners, fee earners and sales support teams and with clients
- Highly disciplined and process driven
- Digital Marketing Skills would be a distinct advantage
- Clear understanding of the sales process
- Ability to engage at senior level with clients.
- Excellent communicator in English both written and verbal
- Ambitious, driven and dynamic
- Educated to Degree level ideally
- IT Literate and familiar with the use of CRM
