Business Development Manager

My client were the best-kept secret in cloud communications - powering communication for many of the companies you are using daily. The secret is now out and that’s where you come in - we need a business development manager to join our merry band of misfits in London bringing the client offering to businesses, with as focus on the US market.

You’ll work as part of a young and vibrant team spread across San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles, London, Brussels, Iasi, Seoul and Hong Kong. Some travel to meetings, conferences as well as to our HQ in Brussels, Belgium for training and team-building activities is to be expected.

Meeting and exceeding ambitious quote goals

Conducting business development activity by identifying new sales opportunities and use cases among target segments
Developing a commercial offering that would fit new use cases of our solutions and close these deals.

Nurture and close leads that have been pre-qualified by our Internal Sales Development Representatives
Expertly negotiate terms, commercial conditions and technical prerequisites in order to successfully sign leads on board as Customers.

Ensure the smooth hand-off of the account along to an Account Manager and moving on to the next deal to close.

Let’s break it down...

Close new business consistently
Develop a pipeline based on opportunities passed on by Inside Sales, at or above quota set
Pitch accurately and effectively to sign new customers on board, making sure to adapt your pitch depending on the segment
Serve as a brand champion for our products and solutions Work collaboratively with other sales team members, marketing and product departments to execute sales strategy & speed up closing

Bring your thinking, strategies and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture and vision for the future
Proactively make outbound outreach to decision makers
Obtain the relevant information from leads to provide competitive and compelling quotes

Build rapport and overcome objections
Follow up on quotes to secure new clients ensuring all contractual information is completed
Treat opportunities promptly and maintain an updated CRM
Draft agreements and efficiently negotiate terms and conditions independently, while still respecting the pre-set guidelines and directives given.

To bring the win, you’ll have/be...

A ninja closer who is happy to work on a mostly independent basis Proven track record in selling B2B tech solutions, to enterprise/large international corporations (Executives, IT management and other decision-makers)

Experience in SaaS sales - strong advantage
A Bachelor’s degree in Business or higher And excellent English, both written and spoken
Having excellent spoken & written skills in a second or third language is a plus.
A go-getter, self-starter mentality. Always driven by hunting and closing the next strategic partnership.
Possess both the art of persuasion and influence as well as the Science of commercial data and analytics
Exceptional closing skills and willing to go the extra mile to secure a deal
Difficulties waking up early? Fine, we are looking for someone that can adapt to regular US business hours
Great presentation skills, both in person and on the phone
Passionate and knowledgeable about all things tech
A fast closer who can anticipate problems or delays and mitigate them Able to work in an organized and structured manner
