Your new role
As Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with the Managing Director, as well as, obtaining new business. You will be identifying new business through industry research and competitor reports. You will need a positive, commercial approach and the confidence to put forward your own ideas where appropriate. You will be planning and executing regular HTML Campaigns to the database, in line with their Marketing Strategy. You will be the first point of contact for all new enquiries and clients. You will be required to forge strong ongoing relationships with clients ensuring full understanding of their business and campaigns maintaining regular contact. You will be responsible for organising regular client events and attend industry functions to keep up to date with industry trends and network.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need a proven track record in business development, retail industry experience and advanced Microsoft Office skills. You will be highly efficient, organised, a strong planner, problem solver with great time management/ prioritisation skills, with an ability to work on a large number of tasks at any one time under tight deadlines.
