Business Development Manager

We are currently recruiting ambitious and driven candidates for a Business Development Manager to join an award winning team in one of Europe's top digital marketing agencies. The role offers an amazing salary of £30,000 with OTE of £60,000 and is a fantastic opportunity for a customer orientated individual to work on an industry-shaking service in a team that carries over 15 years experience in marketing for SME's. The role offers extensive training and support, excellent earning potential and a great benefits structure.

About The Role:
• Develop and execute a strategic target account sales plan for allocated key accounts that will contribute incremental new revenues to Known Locally year on year
• From either Known Locally or self-generated leads, create and execute new business sales from scratch
• Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Sell by up and cross-selling into established customers to promote the full range of Known Locally products and services to increase market penetration, brand awareness and corporate presence
• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
• Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company's product
• Document and present sales pipeline
• Develop quotes and proposals
• Negotiate and renegotiate by phone, email, and in person

Essential Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience and verifiable achievement against sales targets
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in closing commercial negotiations
• Self-starter - equally comfortable with new business leads or prospecting for own leads
• Credibility to deliver complex sales presentations and propositions up to C Level
• Ability to work under minimum supervision with latitude for independent judgement
• Understands how to differentiate between what a prospect "wants" and "needs"
• Ability to separate strategic and tactical requirements as well as influencing the outcome of a sales process accordingly
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Experience of working with CRM systems
