Business Development Manager
Location Flexible - Europe/Global
Up to £150,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and expenses.
Information about the client:
My client is a well-established and successful private equity firm specialising exclusively in the global life science sector. It provides equity funding to biotech, medtech and pharmaceutical companies. Due to the companyâ€™s awards and successes, it is looking to expand their existing business development team.
Requirements of the role as a Business Development Manager:
- The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of EIS single company fund-raising or private equity from leading professional advisers within the investment banking and wealth management community;
- You will need to have an established client base, or have the ability to develop connections, be willing to travel and have good communication skills to build strong, long-term relationships with highly successful advisers;
- Ideally, you will also have extensive knowledge of the professional adviser, family offices and pension fund market and be aware of the key factors driving that market at both a UK and an EU level;
- You will also need to have complete knowledge of the EIS/private equity competitor landscape.
