Business Development Manager

The Job

You will be responsible for sourcing, building and driving new business revenue and lead generation targets through our partner community.

You will be required to work with the minimum of day to day supervision, with the ability to generate meetings, sales campaigns and subsequently sales profitability as a direct result.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the relationship with key vendors on a day to day basis
  • Develop brand awareness in the channel
  • Internal liaison and development
  • Generate new business sales and opportunities

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A good track record of account managing customer relationships
  • A "hunter" mentality, driven by the desire and sole objective of increasing vendor sales and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator
  • Good English verbal and written communication
  • Ability to show initiative and good entrepreneurial spirit
  • A self-motivated and a driven character, being capable of working under minimal supervision on stated goals/KPIs and with good time management skills
  • Must be adept in use of Microsoft Office
  • Some travel required (you will be able to spend nights away/travel as and when required for business) - full driver’s license essential
