Exciting opportunity for an accomplished Sales Manager to develop and implement the growth of a dynamic, forward thinking, successful contract testing business.
The company provides laboratory product testing covering mostly household products including but not limited to; candles, utensils, furniture, seasonal decorations, and including other such as baby/toddler furniture.
Predominantly from home in the midlands you will be given a high level of autonomy. As Business Development Manager, your time will be split between managing the current sales team (3 people) ensuring the team is supported and targets are met and exceeded. Then you will be responsible for selling laboratory the testing services throughout the UK, establishing new business partnerships as well as nurturing existing client relationships.
Applicants are preferred to have relevant science degree such as chemistry/material sciences or equivalent. Then a proven track record in people management and selling Business to Business, ideally from a similar background, such as product testing or service sales. A strong business development desire - forging strong relationships based on a "consultative sales" approach, exemplary communication and relationship building skills are a must.
