Business Development Manager
Location Flexible - UK wide or overseas.
Up to £150,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and expenses.
My client is a well-established and successful private equity firm specialising exclusively in the global life science sector. It provides equity funding to biotech, medtech and pharmaceutical companies. Due to the company’s awards and successes, it is looking to expand their existing business development team.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of fund-raising from IFA’s (probably specialising in HNW private clients or pension work) private banks, family offices or institutional pensions funds. This can be with UK or non UK exposure but you will need to have an established client base, or have the ability to develop connections, be willing to travel and have good communication skills to build strong, long-term relationships with highly successful advisers.
You will also have to be aware of the key factors driving that market at both a UK and an EU level. You will also need to have complete knowledge of the EIS/private equity competitor landscape.
