£38,000 - £40,000 pro rata (6 - 8 months maternity cover)

Full time, 35 hours per week

MRB Health & Social Care Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work with a registered Charity. The company provide support to people across England and Wales with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities and provide them with the necessary support to take control of their lives.

Role:

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager for an interim period of 6 - 8 months to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be required to cover the South West region.

As a Business Development Manager, your main aim is to support your division to achieve its growth targets. By doing so, you will work with Area and Service Managers to develop new support services and opportunities for the company across the South West Division and to promote the company externally to the wider world (e.g families, people with learning disabilities, Local Authority commissioners and other partners.

The role can be home based or be based from one of the services in the South West. The area will cover largely the South West and some services up to Warwickshire and West Sussex.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have previous Business Development experience within a social care setting, preferably within a learning disability setting.

We are looking for applicants who have a strong business development background, including developing new contracts as well as maximising on existing business. You must be able to evidence growth in previous positions.

Very occasional overnight stays may be required
