My client, a long established and well respected telecommunications provider have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager/Director Designate.
Working predominantly in the North West/North Wales region (with some national clients) you will be selling behind a well-established name with an existing strong portfolio of Mobile, United Communication and Connectivity Solutions
You will be:-
-Developing referral partnerships and attend networking events to build new opportunities
-Generating new business opportunities with a mix of clients
-Selling a range of mobile, unified communications and data connectivity solutions
-Working with clients from the wide spectrum across the SME sector.
-Working with an existing account base of clients to sell into immediately
-Attending self-gen meetings and appointments arranged by the Directors of the Company
-Meet potential clients face to face and close business
-Hit quarterly revenue targets
The ideal candidate will have a business development or consulting background, experience working with Telecommunications customers for at least 4 years, with a good understanding of legacy and emerging technologies in the Telecommunications industry. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organisationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and self motivation is a must. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills
The role will pay a very competitive basic salary with OTE (Very appealing commission plan) and company car or car allowance.
