Business Development of Software Sales Solutions and Services
Business Development Manager / Business Development Exec, with citable experience of selling IT software services and software solutions to clients in the SME marketplace, is required for a consultancy based in Central London. This position offers a competitive salary and are flexible for the right individual, which will range between £30,000 - £50,000 per annum + uncapped commission structure and bonuses, likely to achieve £100k+ OTE

The Business Development Manager will be working for an established and growing consultancy which provide IT infrastructure and Software Solutions across application development, cloud services, virtualisation, unified communications, ERP, CRM, LAN/WAN networking and server & storage solutions. To aid in their growth, the organisation desires an experienced Business Development Manager to pursue new accounts and creating exciting new opportunities around IT services, software sales and selling technology solutions to solve the client’s business requirements and needs. This will be done through following up go to market strategies, speaking to and getting in front of key decision makers, attending conferences, regularly networking and keeping in touch with clients to build intelligence and develop rapport. Being well established in the IT consulting, Systems Integrator and VAR markets, the organisation have all the resources, references and technical and pre-sales expertise to help the sales team deliver success.
The current sales practice are a dedicated, dependable and highly successful group of individuals - who have a natural desire to over-achieve.
For this Business Development Manager / IT Sales Consultant role, you must have:
- A citable background in selling software solutions to clients in the SME marketplace
- Ideally good experience of selling IT solutions - software, consulting services and products and project based solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated individual who takes the initiative to create new business opportunities
- Gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
- A genuine satisfaction from utilising technology to solve your client’s business requirements
This position is flexible on salary, depending upon background and level of experience, paying from £30,000 - £50,000 basic + excellent commission structure + bonus + benefits which can see a successful sales consultant earn upwards of £100k+. The organisation would expect the successful candidate to easily double their income with commission and bonuses.
