We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our long standing Freight Forwarders in Basildon- To gain New Business Accounts and Manage Existing Key Customer Accounts for our European Network.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager who wants to hit the ground running.
A thorough understanding of the European groupage and Logistics industry
Sales skills (e.g. account management, business to business selling, relationship management)
The drive and tenacity to create tangible revenue pipelines across different markets
The ability to build strong, commercially sound relationships
Excellent presentation/business tendering skills
Able to generate leads through cold calling - bringing on new clients
Good Closing ability.
