Business Development Manager - Premium Spirits
£30,000 - £35,000 + 20% Bonus + Company Car + Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading importers and distributors of premium, speciality spirits. So far in 2016 they have had huge success with a number of top Grocery accounts and are well distributed across the premium On-Trade as well. They offer a varied portfolio including some of the finest Brandies, Scotch and American Whiskies, Gins and Liqueurs sourced from around the Globe. They are now looking to recruit a talented Business Development Manager based in Scotland.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for an existing portfolio of On and Off Trade accounts in Scotland. These will include key groups such as G1 and Tennents as well as specialist retailers and bottle shops. Another core element of the role will be to manage important Route to Market partners such as Inverarity and Filshill. You will be targeted with growing existing accounts whilst actively prospecting for new business with premium on-trade groups in your area.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential that you have experience from within the drinks industry, selling to the Scottish On-Trade. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the premium spirits industry but candidates from other product backgrounds will also be considered. The company have a very autonomous culture so it is important that you are comfortable working independently. This opportunity would suit an individual who is keen to join a growing business and really make an impact on their future performance.
