Part time Role

This International Healthcare company are looking for an experienced sales person on a part time basis to promote, sell and provide field support for their range of point of care in vitro diagnostic analysers and test kits and medical devices to primary and secondary care and private organisations.

This position requires a self-motivated, innovative person, with a desire to succeed in the often challenging NHS primary and secondary care and B2B markets.

The role will initially be on a 3 day per week time basis with specific hours to be negotiated. The candidate will be required to develop relationships with and sell to all levels of staff within the NHS. There will also be training and technical support responsibilities in order to install, train on and support company products in the field.

The role will allow the candidate to develop their sales and marketing skills and provide a future opportunity for them to move into a managerial sales and marketing role.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of UK Professional Diagnostics

Essential skills

Have a minimum of 3 years sales experience in the IVD industry

Understand the concept of consultative selling

Have the ability to sell to all levels, including B and C level contacts within the NHS and B2B

Have a full understanding of how the NHS operates from a structural and procurement perspective

Understand the utility of Point of Care Diagnostics in the NHS and other health care organisations

Be a highly motivated self-starter having the ability to work on their own without constant direction or management

Be driven by personal and team success

Have a vision of their own future career aspirations and development

Enjoy travelling as this is a UK wide role
