Our client is a market leading B2B media and publishing company with a portfolio of some of the UK’s leading brands on their client list. As a result of continued growth and expansion, an outstanding opportunity now exists for a Business Development Manager to join this dynamic organisation based in Leeds to cover the Yorkshire region.
This is a fast paced, challenging and rewarding role that will give you a significant opportunity to add value to the company and work closely with the Directors and Senior Management team. Key responsibilities are but not limited to: developing relationships with decision makers across Yorkshire, cold calling, attending client meetings, carrying out presentations, taking new products to market and driving revenue, formulating and sending out mailshots, negotiating terms of business, maintaining excellent customer service with key accounts, working towards sales targets and KPI’s and other ad hoc work as required.
The successful candidate will have proven consultative sales experience ideally gained within the media or publishing industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
On offer is a basic salary of up to £33,000 + Car Allowance + Commission. Due to the nature of the role a full clean driving licence is essential.
