With the predominant emphasis on new business, applicants must be resilient, driven and have excellent communication skills, building rapport immediately.
Due to the nature of the role, you will split your time between the office and being out on the road, attending new business meetings, presentations, client meetings and update meetings.
With the support of the Marketing Manager and Client Services team, you will work to a very clear structure, with solid objectives, plans and strategies; so that you are 100% sure on what you are trying to achieve.
I am looking for the following skills and attributes:
- 4-5 years experience as a BDM/ Client Development Manager
- Strong communication skills- written and verbal
- Excellent negotiation/ persuasion skills
- Able to present at a high level
- Research heavy approach to new business
- Proven track record in new business and client development
- Strategic and forward thinking
- Ability to work as a self-starter pro-actively
- Personable with the confidence to offer new ideas and contribute on a wider business perspective
- Tenacious and driven
