Salary: Fron £35,000pa + Commission
Our Client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling digital marketing services, including SEO and PPC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing his/her own leads, and implementing our Clients business development strategy. From lead generation, as well as lead nurturing - you will manage the sales pipeline from start to finish.
The typical sales cycle sees a lead generated, a meeting set and attended, a proposal drawn up and delivered, and then an agreement signed. You will form the core of this process.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition, client value, and revenue growth objectives.
You will contribute to and deliver upon key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.
What you`ll be doing day to day
Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned prospects
Contribute to sales strategy, ensuring delivery against sales targets and expanding customer base, based on growth strategy of financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Arrange and attend business meetings with prospective clients
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Prepare quality sales proposals ensuring adherence to company policy and attention to details
Keep accurate and up to date records of sales and pipeline in Salesforce
Provide a solid and thorough handover to Account Managers
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Required experience and skills
Proven digital marketing sales experience, where the candidate has regularly met or exceeded targets
Previous experience in the digital marketing sector
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software - namely, Salesforce
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services (Web Development / Magento)
Proven ability to position products against competitors and healthy market knowledge
Excellent listening, negotiation, time management and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with keen attention to detail
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Understand the difference between different versions of Magento
Ability to explain how Magento is different to other ecommerce platforms, and be able to critique each
Experience in selling Magento Enterprise Edition
Know and understand the features and functionality of a Magento commerce site. You should also know what Magento features are native and where additional customisation is required
Command on application of their Magento knowledge to business goals including requirements gathering
You will be based in a modern open-plan office - with lots of space and plenty of natural light - in Flitwick (Bedfordshire), right next to the train station.
