Business Development Manager - London

Our client is a leading workplace furniture manufacturer. They are looking to employ a Business Development Manager to achieve/exceed the targeted levels of sales and profitability and generate new business within the London and surrounding areas.

Job Summary:

  • Promote and sell our range of products to existing and prospective customers
  • Focus on identifying prospective customers, developing and relationships and converting into sales
  • Achieve new business sales targets agreed within set timescales
  • Co-ordinate with sales team and other departments
  • Produce quotations
  • Promote and present our products in our showroom and at customer premises
  • Provide product training to customers
  • Maintain accurate and up to date activity records
  • Keep up to date with sector specific trends and activities

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience within the office furniture sector
  • Successful track record of planning and execution
  • Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of MS office
  • Full driving license


  • £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
