Description

Business Development Manager - Logistics.

- To actively solicit new business in a designated territory through external sales visits

- Assisting and completion of Tenders for accounts in the M4 corridor.

- Engage in telesales to ensure enough new business appointments are closed.

- Actively plan and coordinate local area sales strategy, ensuring consistent and regular contact is maintained with existing and potential Customers. Ensuring that operational and financial issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner

- Working on regular long term deals taking up to 9 months to a year to complete.

- Looking after the accounts for the sea.

Profile

Business Development Manager - Logistics.

- The ideal candidate must have 5-7 years sales experience

- Enjoys key account management.

- Thrives gaining new business and enjoys the challenges that this entails.

- The candidate Ideally understands logistics but not essential if has the above.

- Good understanding for a robust sales structure and process and be good client facing.

Job Offer

- £40,000k - £45,000k Basic

- Uncapped commission.

- Company car
