At Firefinch Software we make custom software and data science solutions to create value for clients in the life sciences sector.

The work we do varies from small proof-of-concept data analyses and prototype applications up to large systems which companies run their core business on every day.

Our clients are diverse and include instrument manufacturers, academic start-ups & spinoffs, and contract research & manufacturing organisations.

The role

As Business Development Manager at Firefinch Software you would be a key part of the management team, driving new business for the company by working with both new and existing clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a friendly and supportive team in a successful organisation.

Day to day, you would:

• Investigate business opportunities including contacting existing and potential clients through networking/events
• Manage the tendering process
• Collaborate with clients through the entire product development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Marketing
• Provide feedback and guidance to colleagues and clients.

The successful candidate will have:

• Graduated within the last 5 years
• Commercial awareness of challenges faced in the life sciences market and how software fits within this industry
• Science, Marketing or Software Engineering based degree
• Have experience of bringing products to market
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation

Salary & benefits

• Salary range: Up to £42K based on 36 hours per week.
