RARK Solutions are currently partnered with a thriving IT business based in West Kent who have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding Field Sales Team.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities through face to face/field sales whilst managing existing accounts as and when required.
- Targeting self-generated new business opportunities
- Cold calling
- Conducting customer visits throughout the UK
- Introducing products and services to potential clients and recommending additional services
- Producing Quotations
- Negotiating commercial agreements
- Working to monthly sales targets
- Managing and developing existing customer relationships
The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales person with the ability to perform well in a customer facing role. They will be self-motivated and hardworking with an ability to work well under pressure.
They must have a proven track record in sales/business development and relationship management and at least 3 years of prior experience. Experience of working for a Payment Solutions provider is a strong advantage.
In return you will receive a generous base salary of up to £45,000 (OTE £80k uncapped) , 23 days holiday, mobile phone, laptop and mileage allowance.
Typical working hours are 9:00-17:30 Monday to Friday, but a flexible approach to working hours is required as there will be times when long hours are involved, and overnight stays may be necessary, this could be outside of the UK also.
