Business Development Manager - IT Managed Services Provider and Cloud Technology

£45,000 - £50,000 pa basic depending on experience + Car Allowance + Achievable OTE to double basic with uncapped commission - Field Based - Midlands

Exciting prospect to join an established IT Managed Services provider actively seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager, this organisation operate on a nationwide scale with services ranging from that of; Cloud Hosting including that of and not refined to - Private, Public and Hybrid solutions, Consultancy, Disaster Recovery and IT Security amongst others. In terms of partnerships, this client work with and utilise solutions and products offered by; Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Veeam and VMware and others.

The client is seeking an individual contributor to support on-going growth, utilising existing relationships within the IT MSP industry based in the Midlands, responsible for managing your own calendar and developing new business ranging from SME's to Enterprise accounts. As a Business Development Manager, you must be meticulous at executing the sales cycle and process, implementing; negotiation, communication, matching requirement, extending sale and closing.

The Role

Targeting new business through development of existing, legacy and new business relationships, including; direct prospect communication, leveraging partner relationships and participation in tender responses.

A Business Development Manager that can achieve commercial targets and KPI's as necessary.

Responsible for creating, working to and regularly reviewing a sales strategy and business plan to achieve required objectives.

Assessing, understanding and quoting on new business opportunities.

Being an integral part of liaising in educating the operational team of the size and scope of delivery requirements for the customer.

Required Skills

Experienced as a Business Development Manager or Account Manager within IT Managed Services, having an existing knowledge of services and solutions provided.

Building and nurturing a pipeline specific to that of the Midlands area, drawing upon network and organising your calendar accordingly.

IT sales accreditation or certification with an excellent record of sales achievement and surpassing target.

Working a Midlands Patch, including but not refined to; Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Stratford Upon Avon, Worcester, Hereford, Wolverhampton and Stafford.
