Business Development Manager - Innovative Tech Start-Up!

Our client is a world-leading innovative social media tech start up. Offering cutting edge software solutions to prestigious global media brand names, generating business growth through published digital content.

Due to significant investment and continued growth over the past 4 years, the company have launched a new product and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the development of the brand and drive the business to the next level.

The Position:

As Business Development Manager you will work closely with the company CTO and be responsible for driving new business across this exciting new product area. You will need a strong background in Enterprise level new business sales and be able to evangelise around innovative market changing solutions.

What you'll need to succeed:

- A proven background in developing new business for a software solutions business

- A background in enterprise level solution sales

- The ability to act as a subject matter expert and product champion

- The ability to help grow a new product area off the back of a hugely successful business

- A drive and passion for generating new business and continued relationship development

- As this is a new product area you will need to be comfortable leading from the front and be confident in decision making and working alongside senior stakeholders

- You must be comfortable working in a start-up environment where things are constantly evolving

What we are looking for:

- Experience of working for or selling to online digital publishers

- Experience of selling software solutions based on big data, analytics and AI would be ideal

- Extensive new business sales experience - a strong desire to develop new business and achieve targets.

- A true brand evangelist who can convey in- depth knowledge and a genuine passion about the product

- A passionate technology enthusiast

- Experience of attending events and presenting to senior stakeholders

- The ability to manage the sales process from inception to completion in a consultative manner.

- Objection handling skills
