The Business Development Manager - Integrated Care (BDM) will continually work to become the supplier of choice for homecare / Integrated care solutions, providing an increased base for therapy delivered at home, through market penetration and category ownership which will provide an increase in sales and revenue growth.
The BDM will work closely with customers and stakeholders to provide new and innovative therapy opportunities delivered to patients within their homes, achieved through supply chain solutions and efficiency drivers.

Job Description:

  • In collaboration identify and research homecare opportunities in specific therapy areas to develop a strategic approach to that therapy area to develop new avenues of growth for the MMS-Infusion portfolio in a timely manner to ensure the best opportunity of a successful tender outcome;
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization, up to and including board members of NHS Trusts, private organisations and community to identify new areas for growth in the homecare market;
  • Plan approaches and pitches. Work with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, pains and objectives;
  • Be an expert in NHS market dynamics, acute to homecare interface, decision making and lead the organization understanding here. The BDM should analyse the health economies (STP) plans and consider opportunities from these;
  • Participate in delivering a value proposition that speaks to the pain of the customers;
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion;
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends;
  • Identify and access key senior market opinion leaders to develop the homecare infusion agenda in line with the marketing strategy;
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels;
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales;
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators working across BDX as appropriate;
  • Project management as required for example distributors, Health economies and channels.

  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM;
  • Adherence to and compliance with policies, processes and procedures;
  • Valid and current driving licence.
