Business Development Manager
RationalFX are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager who can take on a broad scope of responsibilities and add to the continued success of our Corporate Sales Team (UK).
The primary purpose of this role will be to contact commercial businesses, discuss how RationalFX can provide a strategic solution to their foreign exchange needs and sign new clients. In this role, you will approach and liaise with business prospects on behalf of RationalFX to attract and maintain new clients. You will influence everyone from the owner of a start-up to the FD or CEO of a large, established corporate business. You may initially consult with them on their currency requirements, risk profile and payment solutions and progress toward securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships.
The ideal candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in business to business and solutions sales in the FX or Financial Services industry. You will have previously demonstrated success in new business telephone sales in a fast paced environment, consistently achieving targets and deadlines. An understanding of consultative sales principles is essential as is the ability to develop long term client relationships. Finally, you should be highly self-motivated, demonstrate tenacity and always striving to be ahead of the competition.
