Based near Southampton, our client offers a full range of fire alarm and security services. Established in 1986, they provide home, commercial and retail security. They are a NSI gold and BAFE SP203-1 accredited company providing a multitude of fire and security services. Their portfolio includes the full complement of electronic security, fire alarms, intruder alarms, emergency lights, CCTV, access control (stand alone or PC based) audio or video door entry, electronic gates and barriers.
I am on their behalf looking for an industry experienced Business Development Manager. This is a new role to the company. The role will involve selling in the Hampshire/Dorset area to domestic customers through to medium sized commercial clients, targeting projects up to £10k. The sales target will be in the £200k-£300k region which will be agreed with candidate.
For this role candidates must have prior experience of selling fire/security systems, reside within the sales area and within commuting proximity to Southampton, be of smart appearance, have strong communication skills (written and verbal), have a full knowledge of the sales cycle from lead finding through to closing and possess a UK driving licence.
Salary £25k-£35k, commission, car, mobile, laptop, pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and 1 week whilst offices closed over Christmas.
