Business Development Manager (Fire, Security and AV systems) - Kingston-upon-Thames
My client was incorporated in 1983 and have become one of the largest independent Company’s in the United Kingdom offering consultation, design, supply, installation and maintenance for Audio Visual, Fire & Security Systems within the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Their multi-discipline skill set encompasses the following, Burglar Alarms, Automated Gates, Automatic Barriers, Rising Bollards, Fire Alarms, Security Lighting, CCTV Systems, Physical Security, Access Control, Perimeter Security, Door Entry Systems and Audio/Visual & Automation. They hold NACOSS Gold accreditation together with BS EN ISO 9001:2008, they are BAFE certified and members of the BSIA and FSA.
I am currently on their behalf looking for an experienced and successful Business Development Manager with a stable employment record to sell Fire, Security and Audio Visual systems. Preferably within the M25 into a mixture of high end residential and commercial clients. The company will provide some leads to work with but the successful candidate will also be responsible for securing their own leads so it is essential that applicants have a full 360 degree knowledge of the sales process from initial lead finding through to closing the sale. Candidates will reside within an hours travel of Kingston upon Thames and be competent system designers. The annual sales target will be £400k with a £15k threshold per month before commission is paid, 10% of the sales should be maintenance and monitoring contracts. The commission structure is designed to encourage the retention of margin.
Basic salary negotiable circa £35k plus commission (OTE £50k-£60k) plus car allowance. 23 days holidays plus Bank Holidays and a work place pension.
