Buisness Development Manager required by leading express delivery business.
Based in Bristol, covering the SW region, the Account Managment and New Sales team are responsible for selling our clients express parcel, package and mail delivery services, maintaining strong links and developing existing customer accounts, whilst also generating new business activity with clients in person.
Achieve monthly new business and annual revenue targets.
Strategically research across the region, converting prospects and leads into sales.
Arrange face-to-face meetings with key decision makers, on the road and on the phone.
Sell the company’s services to new and existing clients.
Undertake presentations at board level to potential customers.
Results and target orientated.
A proven track record of sales within the Logistics industry.
Used to selling / presenting at board level to blue chip clients or SME’s.
An awareness of Customs procedures and their facilities.
Good timekeeping, attendance and smart appearance.
Flexible and able to work under pressure.
IT literate and previous experience of using a CRM system an advantage.
Full UK driving licence.
