Salary: up to £35k basic + uncapped OTE

The role:
Based in London, the BDM will be selling sponsorship and exhibition space across a portfolio of B2B conferences and events.

Requirements:

* Strong, proven seller with excellent sales figures
* Hard working with a high pace of work
* Ambitious and financially driven
* Articulate, intelligent and well presented
* Minimum 3 years sales experience with two years for the same company selling sponsorship for B2B, senior level business conferences
* Clear, demonstrable understanding of the sales process
* Ability to build a sales pipeline and provide quantitative reporting to management
* Self starter/self reliant

Key responsibilities:

* Research the market and generate/qualify new leads
* Conduct face-to face meetings with senior management from target market
* Attend competitor trade shows and key events - international travel required
* Close sales
* Manage and implement the Sponsorship deliverables according to the contracts
* Report key performance figures to the management team
* Help to develop new products and packages
