Business Development Manager - Equity Hedge fund
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and vet candidates through thorough due diligence, including strategy analysis, risk profiling, and market assessment.
- Develop strategic presentations and insights on the investment landscape.
- Build and maintain relationships with allocators, investors, and consulting firms.
- Act as an ambassador for the business, representing it externally with integrity and professionalism.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the firm’s reach and impact.
Ideal Candidate:
The firm is seeking candidates with a strong background in manager or fund selection, ideally gained at a hedge fund, allocator, or seeding firm. You should have at least 7 years of experience and be skilled in evaluating portfolio managers across equity, credit, or event-driven strategies. A robust network within the investment space, alongside excellent communication and analytical skills, is crucial for success in this role.
