Business Development Manager - Electronic Components
A privately owned business that has grown through organic and acquisition growth is now looking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager for their New York based business. This role has full autonomy and massive growth of opportunity for the individual who comes in and provides success for themselves and the business, the opportunity is to not only earn open ended commission but to create the opportunity to employ and grow a sales team.
This business is a distributor of electro mechanical components. This person we seek will be responsible for direct selling, but also designing in from the large portfolio on connectors, sensors, switches, and wire harness-related components in the military, aeronautic, industrial, agricultural, off shore, telecom and medical markets. Ideally, the person will either have a formal education in mechanical engineering and have extensive commercial sales experience.
The ideal candidate will have customer experience and relationships within Electronic Component Sales and Mil/Aero sector cupped with the ability at being able to spot opportunity to _lock-in_ customers for the long-term
