Job Title: Business Development Manager - Education
Location: Hybrid (must be flexible with travel)
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (OTE 50k – 53k)
Type: Full Time / Permanent

This is an exciting period of growth for our client, and as such requires the successful candidate to have proven experience of developing and managing strategic partnerships and business growth within the education sector.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Responsible for identifying and winning new business opportunities, whilst also managing existing client engagement activity, across a defined market sector, for our client’s high level / strategic accounts.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of client business and culture and nurture relationships with key decision makers, to strengthen awareness of their business requirements and maximise all opportunities for growth.
- Research new business opportunities, maintain awareness of market trends and collaborate with internal teams to proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Produce and deliver detailed tenders, proposals and presentations
- Organise/ lead on networking events and conferences, engaging through a variety proactive approaches, utilising sales and marketing techniques to identify new business.
- Drive growth and build cases for new initiatives.
- Deliver against key business objectives and achieve targets.
- Proven experience of operating successfully in a senior level sales role including pitching proposals, developing, and presenting solutions
- Proven experience of developing trust, and maintaining strong relationships at a senior level
- Proven experience of developing strategic relationships, influencing and negotiating at a senior level to secure new business
- Excellent communication, presentation, I.T, written and verbal skills.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Proven experience of working towards and achieving targets
- Must be flexible with travel
