We're looking to welcome a confident, commercially-driven and experienced Business Development Manager (ideally with digital agency background) to drive growth.
The ideal candidate will know how to approach brands both from a cold start and nurture long term relationships to maximise business as well as qualifying and converting inbound leads. You'll need to be comfortable pitching creative and growth ideas. You'll be looking to close commercial partnerships from tens to hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about digital, media and social, and is results oriented and proactive.
You will be responsible for:
*Identifying and targeting brands that would be interested in partnering with us.
*Reaching out to those brands on a daily basis through cold-calling and emailing, social selling, networking or by other, innovative tactics.
*Secure qualified meetings with senior decision makers and budget holders from brands in the digital economy.
*Developing and maintaining a prospect database.
*Researching and representing the company at networking events
*Scheduling calls and face-to-face meetings to introduce brands to us.
*Liaising with internal teams to develop proposals that best match the needs of prospect clients.
*Working closely with the CEO to conduct market analysis and set the overall growth targeting strategy for the agency.
*Developing and nurturing existing client relationships to win repeat business from brands and selling consultatively to grow potential revenue from current clients.
*Ensuring all sales reporting is regularly and accurately updated.
*2 + years business development.
*Good understanding of our core services: Paid Social Media, SEO, PPC, Content
*Proven experience of building, managing and closing a sale.
*Passionate about digital, media and marketing.
*Great communication and grammar skills with excellent attention to detail.
*Perfect written and spoken English.
*Polite, personable & with an excellent telephone manner.
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects.
*Excellent time management.
*Excellent presentation skills.
