A prestigious UK based banking group is looking to expand their UK operations with the addition of an excellent BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER who specialises in COMMERCIAL MORTGAGES. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing to the mortgages sales plan in line with company strategy, and proactively seeking new business opportunities to contribute to this within the Southern region. This is a rare opportunity to grow a new area of the banks existing business - candidates must be able to demonstrate strong networking with established clients and have an existing client book.
- Generating new business and maintaining established portfolio
- Reach all activity targets in relation to mortgage applications; Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties in order to achieve this.
- Working with internal New Business, Specialist Lending and Credit Team to build open relationships for feedback
- Regular contact with finance and mortgage brokers and finance advisors ensuring that valuations and reports are professional and comply with bank procedures; quickly follow on those that don't
- Act as an ambassador for the company by understanding and delivering the brand values.
The successful candidate will have extensive field sales experience within the specialist lending sector (Commercial mortgages) and experience of managing intermediary relationships within a large geographical area. Strong awareness of industry sector and regulation is required.
