Business Development Manager, Broadcast Media

Our client is a household name in the media world with decades of national broadcasting behind them. Their corporate productions team specialises in creating thought-leadership video content that is essential viewing within each market sector in which they work. Going from strength to strength they are now looking for a new Corporate Programming Director to build on their existing success.

Role

They are looking for a Corporate Programming Director to sell top level thought-leadership opportunities to business leaders across the UK. Working closely with your Programme Support Executive and Client Account Manager, you will identify and source high level potential clients for present and future business. On a day to day basis, you’ll be approaching senior business executives to sell the company’s innovative media product offering. Their business leaders will gain broadcast opportunities in their specific industry. The production quality, editorial insight and global name ensure the best exposure for those clients taking part in the events.

Person

To be considered for the role, you will need to be confident discussing complex topics with market experts in each sector. This requires a real interest in news and current affairs and the ability to learn and understand industry specific issues. As well as having 5+ years’ experience in B2B media sales, preferably selling thought leadership, you will be polished and smart with bags of commercial acumen. It’s vital that you have a proven track record in winning new business at board level - and you must have experience in selling editorially focussed content. With truly outstanding communication and negotiation skills, as well as an excellent telephone manner, you will have a fantastic opportunity to earn well and grow your career with a successful global name in the media world.

Package
