Our market research client are a customer intelligence professional services firm, they provide insight and advisory services to large enterprises across a broad vertical of markets. Our market research client also performs in depth analytics and reporting, research management, focus groups and surveys to ensure they have the best business information solution possible.
To name a few, our client currently works with the likes of MasterCard, KPMG, McDonalds and Amazon to provide top of the range market research solutions.
About The Business Development Manager Role
As the Business Development Manager you will have an exciting opportunity to develop both your technical and client servicing skills in an established business information environment. You will be joining a driven and ambitious sales team in London where you will also be given the right training and career development in order to progress with your sales career.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
- Strategically identify new sales opportunities within the BI market, qualify and then acquire via client lunches, events and face-to-face meetings
- Develop an expert understanding of our clients cutting edge products in order to present and pitch to prospective clients
- Collaboratively work in sync with other senior members from different departments in order to implement and create new business opportunities
- Be the first point of contact for key accounts within the business

Essential Skills and Competencies of the Business Development Manager:
- Previous sales experience in a business information or market research based role, ideally 3+ years

The Business Development Manager receives a highly competitive salary paying from £35,000 to £40,000 + £70K OTE depending on experience and excellent company benefits.
