We are currently working with an exceptional SaaS Digtial Marketing Software and Content Management Solutions provider. With clients such as Coca Cola, HP and Vodafone and investors and financial backers with proven experience of creating multi-billion dollar companies. Their solution is recognised for quality and sat within a specific area of Marketing Technology that Forrester predict is the key for the next 5 years.

They are looking for an exceptional business development professional that is used to selling high AOV throughout EMEA. A second language is very beneficial and experience of selling in to the UK but then also France, Benelux or Nordics is needed as they look to strengthen their position within these markets.

The role will be based out of their London office, fully autonomy to manage yourself how you would like is given although they do have a proven sales methodology that works for them. You will also have the support of an internal sales function as well as given marketing budget. This role will ideally progress in to a regional director position long term. Targets are ramped up over the first 12 months.

You will need to have a minimum of 5 years SaaS selling ideally within Marketing Tech. Essential is the ability to sell throughout EMEA and French or Dutch language would be a huge positive. If you want to join an exciting company with a unique solution this is the business for you.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Business Development Manager Benelux - Marketing Technology

  • Take ownership of new business revenues across EMEA
  • Approach prospects strategically and consultatively interacting with multiple stakeholders within enterprise organisations (ideally into a combination of marketing, IT, data, compliance, legal and procurement stakeholder groups)
  • Working to quarterly revenue targets
  • Strong interactive multi-stakeholder workshop facilitation - Proof of concept
  • The continual development of product, industry and competitor knowledge to ensure a 'value-add' sales approach
  • Engage with C-Level decision makers throughout Enterprise clients across europe with full ownership of the sales cycle

Required skills, experience

  • 5+ years SaaS sales experience ideally within marketing technology / marketing solutions
  • A desire to work within a dynamic, agile environment with maximum exposure to Senior Management within top brands
  • Exceptional presentation skills, consultative, challenger selling approach
  • Has 5+ years proven track record in selling in to enterprise clients
  • Exceptional discipline managing complex multi-stakeholder deals within enterprise organisations
  • Dynamic, focused and with a clear will to succeed
  • Existing contacts within enterprise organisations who buy marketing technology within the markets of France, Benelux and Nordics markets advantageous
  • English + a second language preferred
  • Experience selling into media companies / publishers a plus
  • Has a hands-on mentality, is self-motivated, however likes to work as part of an ambitious team.
