Business Development Manager - Required Competencies:

  • German & Dutch speaker
  • Used to working with marketing to ensure marketing campaigns fit your needs and that of your territory or VAR partners
  • Strong relationship builder who can be sensitive to the different needs of VAR partners
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in presenting commercial and technical information, good listener
  • Confident on the phone and resilient when faced with repeated knock backs
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in Benelux / DACH regions
  • Used to driving to monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to cope with competing demands

Business Development Manager - Main Accountabilities:

The role will require you to be able to quickly build relationships based on trust, understand the needs of key partners, and communicate how our client can provide them a significant revenue stream. As part of this role you will spend the majority of the week contacting prospects and clients independently and in partnership with a specific VAR.

  • Selling business software solutions direct to business customers and worked via key VAR partners
  • Quickly build relationships based on trust and understand the needs of key partners
  • Prospecting for new customers in the professional services markets, via partners
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline capable of delivering targeted results month on month
  • Closing sales in best possible lead-time at best margin
  • Provide regular and accurate sales forecast information
  • To maintain accurate up to date records of all customer details, dialog and sales opportunities
