A Business Development Manager based in the South to develop and grow new and existing customers in Commercial Vehicle, HGV and Truck industry. You will be working for a well-established vehicle hire company who are a market leader in Fleet Management industry. It is a completely field / home based role although you will be required to go into the office every few weeks.
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for bringing in new business by canvassing and from your contacts within the industry. You will also be involved in regular customer meetings and reviews with existing customers in line with requirements as well as developing strong relationships with supply chain to maximize new business opportunities and lead generation. Ensuring quotations are accurate and working closely with internal teams setting realistic timeframe turnaround for new business quotations
Experience needed for this position:
- You will have a strong technical knowledge of the automotive industry and have experience of sales and contract hire of commercial vehicles, trucks and HGV's.
- You will need strong experience on bringing in new business from day one from existing contacts and/or your own canvassing
You will get a salary of up to £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience with very healthy OTE and a company car. You will also have the opportunity to work for a well-established, national company with a plenty of benefits.
