Business Development Manager - Asset Finance

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Asset Finance with our well established client.

As a Business Development Manager - Asset Finance you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in a leading asset finance house
  • Maths and English GCSE's grade c or above (or equivalent)
  • Wide knowledge of finance products and accounts
  • Full understanding of the requirements of the consumer credit act
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and TCF
  • Proven experience within business development

Details:

  • Salary: £60,000 per annum
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00 (one hour for lunch)
  • Location: Home based
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Business Development Manager - Asset Finance :

  • Canvass, develop and capture new business and SME customers
  • Asses the quality of proposals for checks such as; annual report and accounts; searches and management accounts
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to promote business and identify any other opportunities
  • Identify and approach customers to promote the company's finance products and service
  • Negotiate terms of proposal
  • Prepare documentation
  • Maintain knowledge of legislation such as consumer credit act, data protection act and anti-money laundering regulation
  • Report issues of regulatory concern
