This role has excellent potential for the right person, you will be a hunter rather than a farmer, you will gain new business in a pre- defined area and then ensure that business is renewed year on year.

You will do this by networking, getting out talking to people, building your contacts and cold calling. You will be heavily supported by the internal technicians and a very friendly team who are highly experienced in their field on Insurance.

You will have the drive and tenacity to succeed and you will be rewarded and supported by your efforts.

Purpose

Delivery of maximum profitable and compliant sales from GI commercial/personal products and services in the HNW sector as directed, through effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and target customers.

Accountabilities

Collate, analyse and evaluate relevant client personal, business and financial information to complete fact finds and recommend suitable advice, products and services that meet their needs.

Develop a robust pipeline and contact strategy to identify target customers

Promote and sell general insurance High Net Worth personal lines products ensuring compliance with Sales Quality and Advice Standards and regulatory requirements.

Build strong business relationships

Complete and submit necessary documentation

Build relationships with clients educating them on the full range of products and referring leads appropriately to meet their current and future requirements.

Continually develop to achieve and maintain competence to the requirements of the Training & Competence Scheme.

Deliver short term/one off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager.

Qualifications

Progress towards professional CII qualifications an advantage.

Experience and Knowledge

Proven experience in a business to business sales role.

General insurance sales experience in the broker markets would be an advantage.

Sound commercial technical knowledge

Negotiable and flexible salary package to suit right person.
